May: Makeover Month!

The past few months (ok more like past 8 months) have been super hectic. So in order to satisfy all over you who have been asking for the next workshops, I have decided to put together a whole package. As I have recently moved my studio and my apartment, I am left with a beautiful, vacant, intimate space that I will use to your advantage in the month of May.

I propose three Saturdays, three kick ass classes + three different workshops!

1:30-2:30 Pilates mat challenge
2:30-4:30 Love Your Feet (workshop)

Saturday May 12, 2012:

2:30-4:30 Love Your Legs (workshop)

Saturday May 26, 2012:
1:30-2:30 Pilates mat challenge
2:30-4:30 Love Your Core (workshop)

One workshop is $55, or do all three for $150
One Pilates mat challenge is $20, or do all three for $50

Register for all three classes and workshops for $180!
***Insurance receipts available***

Location: 1025 Sherbrooke E (2 minutes from Sherbrooke metro)

I will post more detailed descriptions of each workshop in coming days, or if you have any specific questions please just write to me.

See you in Makeover Month!!!

Time to unwind… with a major challenge!

As I have just spent the past month applying four coats of paint in 7 rooms and moving my apartment and studio, my body is feeling rather twisted and out of sorts. I even managed to bruise my inner elbows carrying Pilates equipment (mostly wood and heavy metal springs) three blocks from the old studio to the new one… I can just imagine what my spine went through!

Major Pilates and Body Rolling sessions are now underway to undo the damages, and to add an extra perk I have signed up for a 30-day hot yoga challenge that starts April 15th. A lot of studios are offer similar challenges all over the world, so you may want to look into your area to see if there’s one for you, and let me know how it goes!

I will not journal my daily experiences but hope to have an interesting photo montage when the challenge is over, demonstrating a difference (I hope) between my post-move scoliotic spine and my post-challenge spine. Not to mention my worn-out dancer’s knees and osteo-arthritic hip have been acting up, so it’s a nice chance for me to put all my modalities to the test!

La Course à Talons Hauts

Festival Mode & Design de Montréal

On August 3rd, the Montreal Fashion & Design Festival will highlight the launch with it’s very first high heel race. Crazy do you say? Yes of course! But it’s to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society, therefore at least it’s for a good cause. I thought I would mention this because I am so obsessed with strong, healthy feet, foot fitness… and pretty shoes!

So I’ve decided to teach another Love Your Stilettos workshop. Whether you intend on participating in this risquée race, enjoy wearing heels in your own time, or want to free up tensions in your feet, calves and lower back, mark your agendas! The workshop will be held at:

Love Your Stilettos!
Centre Kinesphère, 1565 Mont-Royal E (corner Fabre)
Saturday August 20th 2011, 4:30 – 6:30 pm

If you are interested in participating in the fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society, click HERE!
